• I have an extensive experience in delivering high-quality Business and Management courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MSc and MBA) levels in triple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) business schools. My teaching portfolio covers several areas of Business and Management, including Information Systems, Strategy, Innovation, and International Business.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE) and successfully engage in all dimensions of the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and supporting learning in higher education, including i) areas of activity (e.g., designing and planning programs of study and teaching and learning activities); ii) core knowledge (e.g., the use and value of appropriate teaching and learning methods in Business and Management); iii) professional values (e.g., teaching and learning that respect and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion).

I obtained my Fellowship of Higher Education Academy by successfully completing a 2-year part-time Post-graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (75 credits) at Loughborough University from January 2016 to March 2018. Since then, I continued to develop my teaching and learning skills by attending several professional development workshops at Loughborough University and at the University of Manchester.

I base my teaching philosophy on three principles:

Equity, diversity, and inclusion—I show students that working in a multicultural context and embracing equity, diversity, and inclusion can lead to a greater pluralism of ideas.

Supportive study environment—I care about promoting each student’s potential by identifying learning needs and supervising students through constructive help that feeds forward.

Pedagogical innovation—I teach in a clear, active, research-informed, and innovative manner in line with the UK Professional Standards Framework’s standards.

In a word, I care about providing an inspiring approach to teaching and learning that enhances students’ critical thinking and employability in a multicultural business environment, empowering them as responsible business leaders who are committed to creating a more just and equitable world.
